first at five anchor/multimedia journalist
Along with anchoring, I also pitched, shot, logged, wrote, and some days, even edited a news story for our 6PM newscast every single day.
First at Five consistently #1 in our four station news market from the time I started on the desk until I was promoted to Evening Anchor. In Nov. 2013, our First at Five ratings more than doubled our competition.
evening anchor/ I-Team reporter
Along with anchoring the 5:00PM, 5:30PM, 6:00PM, and 11:00PM shows week nights on CBS and NBC alongside one of my favorite people in the world, veteran anchor Richard Rogers, I am also responsible for editorial input on the shows, editing scripts for reporters, writing, social media updates, and web updates.
I also work on special assignments and investigative reports throughout the year. I typically turn one to two investigative pieces a month. When I'm not at work, you can usually find me out in the community volunteering, emceeing, or making community appearances.

Television News Anchor in Augusta, GA
Delivered enterprising and hard hitting local news stories daily. For a few months, I served as the interim City Government beat reporter. While in this position, I hosted a local radio broadcast, 'The Inside Story' once a week. I shoot, write, edit, have radio experience, and anchor. Who says a triple threat is as good as it gets?

CURRENT HOME: North Augusta
DEGREE: Broadcast News

My mom says my follow up question to anything I was told growing up was, 'Why?' It's a habit that turned into a career. I continue to ask that question as an investigative journalist and evening anchor for CBS and NBC in Augusta, GA.
I have won awards covering everything from tornadoes, floods, ice storms, and plane crashes to investigative pieces into sex trafficking, and wrongdoing by police and government agencies.
I love this career because no two days are the same. A new adventure greets me every time I walk through the door. But, my greatest adventure is just getting started. My husband and I welcomed a healthy baby boy in November. To say we are 'over the moon' would be a cliche (and I hate writing cliches), but we are seriously thrilled.
I'm on the North Augusta Family Y Board of Directors. I also volunteer my time emceeing, judging, hosting, reading to kids, and helping out with events for non-profits all over town. In my spare time, I love cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs, playing golf, traveling with my husband, and cooking.
